Coggin Brothers designs and supplies kitchen cabinets in Littleton, CO. We measure your kitchen in your home, build a 3D layout you can walk through on screen, help you choose the cabinetry line and finish, and place the order. The measure, the design, and the materials guidance cost nothing. Our showroom sits in Parker, a straight run west across the south metro on C-470, and we have supplied Front Range kitchens since 1993.
Littleton holds the oldest housing we regularly work in. The town was platted in the 1870s and incorporated in 1890, and the blocks around Main Street still carry bungalows, foursquares and small Victorians that were framed before drywall existed. That one fact changes how cabinetry has to be specified here, and it is why a Littleton quote takes longer to put together than a quote in a master-planned subdivision twenty minutes east.
In those older homes near downtown, along the streets around Bemis and Ketring, almost nothing is square. The walls are plaster over lath rather than drywall, so they are thicker, softer at the arrises and rarely plumb from floor to ceiling. Ceiling height wanders inside a single room. A corner can open or close a quarter inch across a six-foot run. None of that is a problem when it is known before the order goes in, because it is solved with scribe stiles, filler strips, a finished end panel and a run measured slightly short on purpose. It turns into an expensive problem when cabinetry has been ordered to nominal dimensions off a sketch. That is the reason we measure in person and will not quote a Littleton kitchen from photographs.
The other half of Littleton is a different job entirely. West and south of Bowles and Wadsworth, through Columbine, Ken Caryl, Woodmar and the neighborhoods that filled in around Southwest Plaza, the housing is 1960s through early 1980s tract construction on the Jefferson County side of the city. Those homes are square, predictable and repeat street to street, and the work in them is the familiar one: a dropped soffit above 30-inch uppers, a wall or a pass-through between the kitchen and the family room, particleboard boxes behind an oak face frame, and a layout built around how a household cooked fifty years ago. Littleton needs both approaches. Knowing which of the two houses you are standing in is most of the job.
We come to your house, measure the room properly, and talk through what you want the space to do. In a pre-war Littleton house the measure is not a formality. We check the walls for plumb and square, look at what the plaster is doing at the corners, and note where a run has to be shortened and filled rather than pushed tight to the wall. That half hour is what keeps a cabinet order from arriving an inch too long for the room it was built for.
Book a MeasureWe build a realistic 3D model of your kitchen so you can see the finished room before a single box is ordered. In a small older kitchen it is the fastest way to settle the arguments that always come up: whether the range stays where the gas line already is, whether the refrigerator can move to the outside wall, and what happens to the doorway into the dining room if the run gets longer.
See the ProcessDoor style, box construction, hardware, finish and price tier, explained in plain terms and matched to the house rather than to a catalog page. Our full cabinet design and supply service list spells out what is included at each stage.
Our ServicesOriginal Littleton kitchens are small by current standards, and they were planned around a walk-in pantry, a rear porch or a basement stair rather than around cabinetry. A lot of what we do here is converting that stored square footage into usable cabinet storage: full-depth pantry cabinets, drawer banks instead of base doors, and one properly specified run along the wall that will actually take it.
Contact UsOlder Littleton bathrooms were framed to whatever width the carpenter had, so a 30 or 36-inch stock vanity frequently leaves an odd gap on one side. That is the same filler and scribe problem as the kitchen and we specify it the same way, which is why the bathrooms are worth walking through while we are already at the house.
Contact UsWe are a design and supply firm, not an installation company. After the order is placed we connect you with installers and countertop fabricators we have worked with for years. In an old house that referral carries real weight, because scribing cabinetry into plaster is a skill and not every installer has it.
Get ConnectedWe meet at your Littleton home or at the Parker showroom to talk through how the room needs to work, what you want to change, and what you would rather leave alone.
We measure the space, record where it is out of square, and build detailed 3D renderings so you can see the finished kitchen before committing to anything.
Visit the showroom on Singing Hills Road to choose cabinetry line, door style, finish and hardware with samples in your hands rather than on a screen.
We place the order and connect you with installers and countertop fabricators who work in older Front Range homes regularly.
Our design services are complimentary and we are upfront about what a project costs before you commit to it.

We partner with leading cabinetry manufacturers, and in Littleton that range is the point. The same town holds a 1912 bungalow with a nine-foot ceiling and a 1978 four-level off Coal Mine Avenue, and those two kitchens do not want the same cabinetry. Carrying several lines lets us specify at the style, price point and construction quality the house calls for instead of forcing the house to fit one catalog.
Coggin Brothers is a family-owned cabinet dealer and design firm that has served Colorado for more than thirty years, with over 500 projects completed. We are based in Parker, which puts Littleton a straight run west on C-470 and well inside our regular working radius rather than at the edge of a service map.
We work with homeowners, contractors, and interior designers. Our background in home building and interior design is why the conversation tends to start with how the room works and not with a door sample. You can read more about our family and our history in Parker, or look through completed kitchen and cabinet projects in the gallery.
We are transparent about timelines, costs, and what is possible, and you will never face a hard sell from us. If you are comparing options across the south metro, our Centennial kitchen cabinet page, our Highlands Ranch kitchen cabinet page, our Lone Tree kitchen cabinet page and our Castle Rock kitchen cabinet page cover the same process in the neighboring communities. Englewood sits directly north of Littleton and shares much of the same post-war housing stock, so our Englewood kitchen cabinet page may be the closer read if your house is north of Belleview. You can also book a free in-home measure directly.
No. The in-home measurement, the 3D design rendering, and the materials consultation are all complimentary, and that applies in Littleton exactly as it does in Parker. We do not ask for a deposit to come look at a kitchen.
Yes, and that is the normal answer in older Littleton homes rather than the exception. Out-of-square walls are handled with scribe stiles, filler strips, a finished end panel where a cabinet meets an uneven wall, and a run measured slightly conservative so there is material to trim into. What matters is that the deviation is measured before the order is placed rather than discovered on install day. When the deviation is large enough that fillers stop looking intentional, we specify a line that can be built to the opening instead.
That is not a question we can answer from the cabinet side, and anyone who answers it without looking at the framing is guessing. Whether a wall carries load is for a contractor or a structural engineer. What we can do is design the kitchen both ways, so you know exactly what the open layout buys you in cabinet run and workflow before you pay anyone to open it. In older Littleton homes a partial opening frequently gets most of the benefit for a fraction of the work.
Often yes, and it is one of the most requested changes in the 1960s to 1980s homes on the Columbine and Ken Caryl side of town. The caveat is what is inside the soffit. In tract houses of that era a bulkhead frequently hides ductwork, a vent stack or wiring, and that has to be confirmed before we specify taller cabinets. Once it is confirmed, running the uppers to the ceiling adds real storage and makes a low-ceilinged kitchen read taller.
We do not. Coggin Brothers designs and supplies cabinetry. After your order is placed we refer you to installers and countertop fabricators we have worked with for years, so the install is handled by people who do it every day. In an old house that referral matters more than usual, because scribing cabinetry to plaster is a skill and not every installer has it.
Not for the first conversation. We can start at your house in Littleton. Most clients do visit the showroom at 475 Singing Hills Rd at the selection stage, because door samples and finishes look different in person than they do on a screen.
Yes. A large share of our work comes through contractors and interior designers, and we are comfortable slotting into a project that is already underway.
We serve the greater Denver metro and the Front Range, including Parker, Centennial, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Aurora, Elizabeth, Monument, and Denver.
No commitment required. Tell us about your Littleton kitchen and we will come measure it.
